in a variety of techniques and styles.
All workshops and courses are suitable for beginners unless otherwise stated.
Class numbers are tailored to the subject allowing for individual attention.

Dry Felt Landscape
with Nicola

Spend a therapeutic day learning how to design your own landscape picture.
Nicola will guide you through the simple technique of 'dry' needle felting; how to prod, sculpt and create texture using Merino wool and textural threads. You can bring along a simple picture to work from, something that inspires you or choose from one of Nicola's on the day

Hand Applique'
with Nicola
2 days - Thursday 21st & 28th January 10 to 4pm

Spend a relaxing two days creating your own applique' design or choose to use one of several available templates.
Nicola will take you through needle turning, raw edge and bias stems. Explore the various different way of doing hand applique' whilst discovering which method you prefer.
Your choice of project could be used for a wall hanging, cushion or table runner or be incorporated into the centre of a medallion quilt at a later stage
