This Sampler Wall Hanging Quilt has been designed by myself and is suitable for both beginners and improvers. The course is structured over 8 separate days and tuition will take you 'step by step' at a steady pace, through to the completion of your quilt. You will learn different techniques such as foundation piecing, traditional piecing, English patchwork, both raw and turned edge applique’, as well as how to create vines and achieve perfect circles. You will also learn about different quilting designs and techniques, thread choices and much more before making them up into a quilt using the 'quilt as you go' method. Expert tuition, along with lots of tips and advice throughout, provides the basis for this confidence building quilt. There is a minimum requirement for this course, that you are able to set up and use the basics of your sewing machine. This structured course will run on 8 separate Tuesdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm during Autumn 2026 and Spring 2027 – course fee £480 The course tuition fee is payable in two instalments - £240 when booking your place for the 4 Autumn dates followed by the balance payment of £240 for the 4 Spring dates, will be due by 27th November 2026. Places are limited, so don’t delay - please refer to the ‘Cancellation Policy’ below before booking your place. If you have any queries, please speak to me before booking. Please note that the materials required for this course are not included in the course fee. A ‘Materials’ list will be provided on request or booking. Autumn 2026 course dates: September 8th & 29th, October 20th, November 10th Spring 2027 course dates: January 12th, February 2nd & 23rd, March 16th It is envisaged that you will complete your quilt by the end of the course, with a little work being done at home in between dates. It is important that you are able to attend all of the dates, however there will be an option to attend a ‘catch up’ day towards the end of the course for anyone who does miss a day. This will be arranged for a mutually agreeable date for anyone who may need it and will incur an additional day fee.
